Open to all printmaking techniques for two-dimensional works.
Eligibility:
Open to all artists of any age and nationality.
Conditions of Entry:
- ・ All works must have been produced after 2008. Works already exhibited elsewhere will not be accepted.
- ・ Maximum size of works is 150x150cm. Works larger than 85x65cm must be framed; works that are smaller than this size do not necessarily have to be framed. In cases when a work is framed, it must be ready for hanging, though glass is not allowed. In cases when a work is not framed, the work alone should be packed between strong, flat boards. Cylindrical cardboard box is not possible.
- ・ As to works in digital format, submissions in a data format only will not be accepted.
- ・ Paste the Exhibit Label on the upper right corner of the backside of the frame so that the proper sides can be determined. (A copy of the Exhibit Label should also be pasted on the packaged box.)
- ・ Artists are allowed to submit a maximum of three works.
- ・ Single carton packaging shared by multiple artists is not possible.
Entry Fee:
A non-refundable entry fee of 5,000JPY for up to two entries, and 7,000JPY for three entries, must be paid.
(There is no charge for artists applying from outside Japan.)

Note: The award-winning works will be donated to the Organizer or the Sponsor.
The ACAC Prize-winner will be granted the use of the Creative Hall, the Residential Hall and Gallery B of the Exhibition Hall on the premises of the Aomori Contemporary Art Centre for one month.
Entry Procedures:
Artists residing in Japan must transfer the entry fee to one of the following accounts, and then send a copy of the transfer form along with the Entry Form (A.Entry Form B.Entry Receipt Form C.Screening Results) before July 15, 2010.Artist should also pay bank transfer fee.

An exhibition of award-winning and selected works will be held.
Return of Works:
- ・Works sent from inside Japan
The selected works will be sent back after the closing the exhibition. The rejected works will be sent back within 60 days after the decisions of the jury. Works cannot be hand-delivered. Artists who do not want their works sent back must make this request upon submitting the Entry Form. When works can not be sent back due to unidentified return address and the organizer can not reach the artists for a certain period of time, the organizer may get rid of the works.
- ・Works sent from outside Japan
Please note that all works sent from outside Japan will not be sent back.
Other Conditions:
- ・ Works will be returned in the same box they arrived in; thus, the box should be easy to open and to repack. Please ensure that the works will not be damaged during transit.
- ・ Although all works will be handled with utmost care, the Organizer is not responsible for any unexpected damages incurred during handling, nor is the Organizer responsible for accidents or damage during transit to and from the address designated by the Organizer. Artists are responsible for insuring works at their expense.
- ・ The Organizer will notify the results of screening to all entrants by early October 2010, but we will not accept any inquiries concerning the results of the screening.
- ・ One 'Exhibit Label' for each entry should be pasted on the work as well as on the packaged box.
- ・ For works sent from outside Japan, please describe the content of the value as "No commercial value" on the invoice of the package.
- ・ Artists will be responsible for all costs including shipping, insurance, customs duty, and any other expenses which result from application.
- ・ The Organizer is entitled to photograph and reproduce any accepted work for publicity and advertisement purposes, catalogs and other documentation.
